this post brought to you by Ann Taylor
well, i have to admit new york spoiled me this weekend when it delivered delicious fall temps all weekend long. it was so refreshing to pop on a blazer to chase the chill away or drape a scarf around my neck for added warmth. and if you’ve been following the blog long enough you know, i have a weakness for sweaters. let’s face it who doesn’t love a cozy cardigan or crewneck? but with autumn still fresh on my mind, today is a perfect day to share a few new goodies from Ann Taylor.
as we watch the temperatures drop it’s time to reach for a few of my favorite fall layers. first up, a color block cashmere sweater and an adorable poncho that reverses from windowpane check to banded stripes. add a pair of skinny jeans in velvet, and this ootd is perfect for a crisp autumn day.

long raglan sleeves add a hint of casual chic.

look ma, no sleeves! this poncho is an easy layering piece, and it’s machine washable.
anyone notice my latest fall obsession besides sweaters? if you guessed the color green, then please go to the head of the class. because if there’s one color i’ve reached for time and again the past month it’s green. today’s ootd is no exception. it started with a pair of slim ankle pants in wild moss. in for a penny in for a pound, my mother always said. so i added a marled turtleneck in green melange to compliment the trousers. the muted color scheme of this striped scarf is the perfect accessory for those chilly days that require an extra layer but a hint of softness. and i couldn’t resist revving up this outfit with a knit twill moto jacket.

it’s easy being green with a comfy turtleneck and twill ankle pants.

Love your idea of green for fall, I’m always thinking of autumn oranges, reds, beiges, but how fab is green, and I love it with leopard of course.đ
doesn’t green look sharp with leopard print? xo
Excellent fall looks. I love the time of year when the air is crisp and it’s time to get out the sweaters and jackets. I love the colorblock sweater–I have one in black and white from Celtic & Co that I reach for all the time. This one looks soft in cashmere. Stay toasty!
well, i’m happy that fall finally decided to make an appearance! it’s about time we had a few crisp days that are darn near perfect after that long, hot, humid summer… xo
I’ve been following your blog since your San Francisco days and look forward to viewing your ootd.
Today’s green is one of my all time favorites. Ordered all the pieces to add to my fall wardrobe.
