the slow transition to fall continues. but if there has been one item that’s been on repeat the past month, it has to be this textured blazer last seen here and here. its neutral color lends itself to so many styling options. and a blazer is part of my style uniform – the 4B’s – blazer, button-down, blue jeans, and ballet flats. although i love to switch things up sometimes with a graphic tee or sweater in lieu of a button down. and ballet flats are easily exchanged for boots or block heels.
but at the heart of today’s ootd is the mighty blazer and humble blue jeans. last weekend mr. style and i were in Atlanta, and i discovered this adorable embroidered sweater. it’s perfect tucked underneath the blazer with the words peeking out. of course, my style uniform includes blue jeans, and i love these sailor inspired jeans similar here with the nice addition of buttons on either side. embellished plaid block heel shoes add spit and polish to this ootd. and the suede handbag gives a pop of color. all in all, i like this outfit, i really like it!

Classy and playful all at once. Love the graphic shades, too. They’re perfect.
