it’s short and sweet today ladies as mr. style and i are headed to naples, florida tomorrow for a long weekend. just in time as more rain is headed our way! at least the past few days have been filled with sunshine and everyone’s mood has measurably improved. but i decided a pop of color was in order for today’s ootd which also brightens your day. it seems as if i’ve been wearing neutrals since the beginning of the year. time to switch gears.
many of you remember this lilac blazer from the NYE post when it was paired with a lace skirt and charmeuse blouse. today it’s paired with a striped turtleneck from the same collection – Halogen x Atlantic Pacific. i would be remiss if i didn’t mention how comfy this sweater truly is. it’s lightweight has a longer length and isn’t bulky. love the color palette! a cuffed pair of jeans last seen here shows off my grey suede boots (similar here). add a burgundy suede handbag (similar here) and this sporty chic outfit has a decidedly modern twist.
