and it’s home again, home again, jiggity jig! many of you know mr. style and i spent a whirlwind weekend at Panama City Beach. it was loads of fun. there will be a full recap of our adventures in the next week or two. but on our last day, the temps dropped, the storm clouds swirled, and the wind picked up. raindrops even fell during this photo shoot. but, hey, we powered through!
let me tell you, i was certainly glad i threw this military-inspired blazer from Ralph Lauren into my suitcase at the last minute! it came in handy. not only did the denim officer’s jacket keep me warm but it added a little extra something to my ootd. what is it about epaulets and soutache trim that make my heart go pitter patter? a military blazer is classic style at its best – timeless and chic. plus, it’s denim which means it goes with everything. this jacket is also available at Macy’s in petite, regular, and plus. one more reason to love Ralph Lauren. his clothes are designed for a variety of shapes and sizes.
bermuda shorts are a must-have for spring and summer. and beach vacations. this pair is from Talbots. the length hits just above the knee which is perfect. i’m wearing black shorts, but they are available in nine colors.
another classic essential for the coming months is a striped tee. this red striped tee is from Ralph Lauren. it sports a graphic logo. and what goes well with shorts and a tee? why a comfy pair of tennis shoes. this pair is from Ann Taylor that i’ve been wearing non-stop since they arrived at my doorstep.
good golly, miss molly! a new week has arrived. and a new month. can you believe it’s april?! me neither. happy monday, gang.

What a snappy outfit you’ve put together Beth! You’ve inspired me! I can go to my own closet and recreate your look for today! Love!
there’s nothing better than shopping our closets! xo
Loved the shorts, Lauren T-shirt and sneakers but can’t imagine wearing the jacket. Question – are you gifted or do you buy the new items that you feature or are provided just for the blog and then returned?
then i guess that’s when a style blogger steps in and shows you something new and different. as far as partnering with brands whenever you see a sponsored post that means i am paid for that partnership. whenever the post is a paid partnership the brand gifts the items and i do not have to return the. otherwise, all the items i post on the blog are my own. hope this helps. xo
