good morning, ladies. mr.style and i arrived home late last night from oregon. can you say tired? the past five days were spent at a lush and gorgeous setting – loloma lodge located on the riverbanks of the mckenzie, river. the perfect setting to read a book, river raft, fly fish or get hitched. it was our oldest son’s wedding weekend that was perfect in every way. even the weather cooperated dishing up blue skies, sunshine, and seventy-five degrees. we are ecstatic to welcome a new member into the djalali family. the playing field is finally evening up a bit – two girls, four boys. or is it women and men?
today, i’m sharing summer style from JC Penney. those of you who follow me on Instagram have already caught a glimpse of these adorable and affordable clothes. for the past three months, i’ve partnered with this iconic retailer – JC Penney – and was challenged to style their clothes my way. if you missed the spring arrivals from JC Penney, please read that post here. this month the box of goodies included a knit polo shirt, earrings, dress, and midi skirt.
summer style from JC Penney includes this adorable cotton dress comes with a self-tie belt that i exchanged for one from my collection. the earrings are featherweight. the perfect addition to any outfit to add a little summer fun.
snake print sandals add a subtle hint of pattern. block heels are comfortable to wear and add extra support.

it’s that kind of day when i’m not certain if i should go back to bed or have two more cups of coffee. a ten hour travel day will do that to you! car – plane – car. but what a weekend! what an amazing family i am blessed with. happy tuesday, ladies!

Very nice!!
Congratulations. I also only had boys. I have one daughter in law and am getting ready to add another. Would love to see what you wore. We are probably have a destination wedding in the mountains of Charlotte , NC.
Congratulations again! I too, would love to see what you wore to your son’s wedding (events). We have a destination wedding for our daughter in October. They are marrying in beautiful Montana, near Yellowstone. Weather permitting, the events will all be outside!
When I was a working mom, JCPenney was a staple for our needs! I especially liked to buy myself skirts there because skirts seem to change styles very quickly making the affordability extra nice.
The red dress looks really nice on you.
Hello Beth,
Best Wishes to the bride & groom as well as you and your family.
My son will also be having a destination wedding in a few months.
Love your style! Always look forward to seeing your posts.
Love the gingham! I hope we see what you wore to the wedding.
The red dress looks marvelous!

Congratulations on your new daughter in love!!!!
Congrats! What is the sizing like on the JC Penney polo? I like it, but don’t know what size to order. It looks like it runs small. Is that accurate? Thx.
These are all attractive outfits. Love the kick of red, and the gingham with the sandals is cute, too. Congratulations to you all on the big day!
