september has arrived gang! but before we focus on fall fashion, full-time i wanted to take a moment and share the top five posts from august. every month the style at a certain age team takes a deep dive into our analytics to see what resonates with all of you. summer is such a busy time what with vacations, long weekends, and lazy days by the pool you might have missed a post or two. so in case you were away or taking a hiatus from the internet here’s what resonated with you in august.
fridays with oscar continue to be a favorite with you. and this month not one but two fridays with oscar posts were hits! first up was a delicious one-pan roasted chicken and veggies. and y’all loved this tunic from Macy’s. these gingham flats from J.Crew were on style repeat as were the white denim from J.Crew. win/win/win.

the second most popular post in august was lose weight fast with Faster Way to Fat Loss. nothing makes me happier than to share health and wellness tips with you. since our generation grew up eating processed food, sugar, and the misconception it’s okay to gain weight as we age i’m always happy to share FWTFL. our health is important no matter what age but especially as we age. lot’s of things start to show up after we hit menopause, including illnesses associated with being overweight like diabetes or auto-immune diseases. if you want to learn how to burn fat and choose nutritious foods that will help us achieve a healthy lifestyle then you won’t want to miss this post.

the third most popular post in august was a favorite of mine. vince camuto separates. the dog days of summer recently settled in, so it’s all about beating the heat in style. i particularly like how light and airy this outfit feels. and the sheer ruffle on the paisley skirt gives this ootd some personality. stay tuned for tomorrow’s post where the easy flowing blouse makes another appearance. this time dressed down. these Vince Camuto separates are so dang versatile!

coming in fourth place is leopard jeans that transition from summer to fall. and believe you me these leopard jeans will be on style repeat all fall. i snagged these babies at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale knowing they would turn into a perennial favorite.

Awesome summary of August! I purchased several items I had to have! I bought the leopard dress from JCP and I love it! I found Sofia Vigara leopard jeans at Walmart and a white blazer, Walmart George brand! I am planning on purchasing the Vince white dot blouse, it’s so flattering on you!
