These Amazon picks are about to become instant favorites of yours. No seriously, these products are that good, and with a few clicks (and a Prime subscription) they could just be a day away from becoming your new must-haves!
As a working makeup artist and beauty content creator, I feel it is my duty to my clients, followers, and even myself, to always be trying new things so I can pass along my thoughts and experiences with various beauty products. I consider my Amazon purchases to be “research” and “continuing education” in my profession as a makeup artist. I feel it is important to stay on top of trending products, read reviews, but to also experience the “classics,” and give them all a fair shake, so that you don’t have to waste your money!
So today I’m giving you my list of some of the items I keep repurchasing, just purchased, or have in my save-for-later cart. Now keep scrolling to see what they are or feel free to jump ahead to the specific category you’re looking for from skincare to makeup.

It’s worth noting when it comes to my experience with these skincare items: I am 46 years old, have very dry and mature skin, I don’t get Botox anymore (been 5+ years now), and my skin is not sensitive at all.
Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum, $15. If you haven’t heard the buzz around this K Beauty brand, consider this the introduction you need! This eye serum includes powerhouse ingredients like ginseng extract (for hydration), Niacinamide (for building stronger skin barrier), and Retinal (a sensitive skin alternative to retinol that helps stimulate collage) is a #1 best seller in eye treatments on Amazon. I love this stuff and use it morning and night which has never made my eyes irritated!
Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum, $15. With 4K reviews at a 4.5 star rating, this fragrance free serum is made for those struggling with skin inflammation and enlarged pores. I have used this consistently underneath my moisturizer for over 3 weeks and have noticed overall happier skin!
The pricing on these Beauty of Joseon products are a welcome break from super expensive luxury skincare. Of course, the packaging is very simple so I am assuming that helps keep the cost of their products down. No fluff, just all product focused.
Ice Roller for the Face, $18. I already own a plastic ice roller that I use every morning, but I’m ready to switch to one with a metal roller. That’s because a roller made of stainless steel will stay cold for longer and promote a more perked up complexion by reducing puffiness! It’s the BEST way to really wake up a tired face that feels like it’s dragging in the morning - I promise you.
Urban Skin RX Even Tone Cleansing Bar, $12. I just reordered this for the third time. I’m obsessed with this skin cleanser. It cleanses, exfoliates, and brightens skin/lightens dark spots, all in one treatment. Just make sure you do not store the sponges that are included inside the jar because it will mold! After one round of cleansing, your skin will feel like a million dollars - but won’t cost it.
VieBeaute Eyelash Growth Serum, $24. I fell for this serum that was a viral TikTok favorite and after reading their recent positive reviews on Amazon. So far I’ve been using both morning and night, and I do believe my mascara looks better and better each day due to healthier lashes! Usually these serums take at least a month to see big time results, so I can’t wait for a couple more weeks.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, $9. I wear a ton of eye makeup, and there’s nothing else I would use except for this to easily remove it all with a cotton round. It’s the best out there that is affordable, and I can easily reorder from Amazon.
Lumify Redness Reliever Eye Drops, $21. You wouldn’t believe the magic of whiteness these Bausch + Lomb drops do for tired bloodshot eyes! They work in mere seconds once dropped into the eyes. I do consider these a makeup must-have because tired red eyes ruin even the best eye makeup job.
Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm with SPF 25, $10. My best friend introduced this lip balm to me because she knew I was a crazy person who always needs to keep my lips hydrated! I’ve always thought this was a dude's lip balm, but no way - works for everyone and comes in multiple hints of flavor! And if you’re not using a lip balm that has SPF included - you’re doing your delicate lip surface a disservice!
These are some lesser well-known brands that are unique to Amazon but also some more popular brands that have legit storefronts here on Amazon.
SheGlam Color Bloom DayGlow Liquid blush, $6. If I’m being honest, what I love most about this blush is the ease of use of the built-in sponge applicator that is THE perfect dome size to dot onto the cheeks! And the formula is just so buttery soft and easy to blend in with no streaks. Highly recommend buying more than one color. Watch me apply the shade “Love Cake” on my Instagram reel here.
Vivienne Sabo Cabaret Mascara, $13. With over 21K reviews, this is no longer a sleeper fave! It’s perfectly described as having a “flexible texture” that makes layering easy and the brush separates lashes very well. I’m on my third tube of it and it keeps my lashes soft and not crunchy like some formulas do.
Catrice TrueSkin High Cover Concealer, $7. Don’t let the cheap price fool you. I’ve been repurchasing this formula for YEARS and it never lets me down. I’m wearing shade 010 “Cool Cashmere” in this post - look how good my under eyes look as compared to my skincare photos previously in the post!! It has a demi matte finish, wonderful pointy doe foot applicator, and covers with ultimate hydration because of hyaluronic acid. Ask any old school beauty blogger about this concealer - we all love it!!
Real Techniques Everyday Essentials set, $19. Need some new brushes but don’t want to spend a ton? You can achieve a complete makeup look by using this brush set of : 4 makeup brushes for applying liquid, cream, and powder blush, eyeshadow, foundation, bronzer, contour, highlight, and setting powder. AND it comes with their famous orange makeup sponge!
Need to clean these brushes quickly so they dry fast? Spritz the bristles with this quick brush cleaner I constantly repurchase from Amazon, then wipe down with a paper towel. Voila! Good as new.
L’Oreal Infallible Grip Mechanical Gel Eyeliner, $9. You know I love a great nude or white soft eyeliner to go in the inner waterline of my eyes to make my eyes look bigger and whiter. When I want a cheaper version of the tarte Fake Awake pencils, I go for this L’Oreal version always found on Amazon. This formula is soft, but pigmented, and never requires a pencil sharpener and their nude is great!
Buxom Plumping lip cream glosses, $25 + Powerline Plumping lip liner, $21. By now, you all know I have a big infatuation with Buxom lip products. Their plumping glosses are just superior and the color choices are spectacular. I’m wearing the combo of a cream gloss in “Hot Toddy” (tawny nude) and is one of those neutrals that is just so glossy and very wearable for all. Their liners come with a brush on the other end that helps to blur the edges of harsh lines and I’ve paired it to Hot Toddy in the shade “Savvy Sienna.”
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Singles, $22. I find a lot of women aren’t into overwhelming shadow palettes, and would probably rather own one or two really good colors they’ll wear often. I’m a huge fan of the color options and color payoff that Urban Decay provides in these singles. They were the ones that make the super iconic Naked palettes you know! Shades I like are “half baked,” “sin,” “fix,” and “ember.”
Rotating Makeup Organizer, $23. If you don’t own one of the plastic handy helpers - you’re missing out. Amazon has plenty of colors, sizes, and prices. But get one - they make finding what you need a snap and keep all those bottles off the actual countertop!
My short puff-sleeved sweatshirt top is by English Factory which I’m a big fan of the brand you can find here on Amazon in limited styles. And since my style is almost sold out on Nordstrom, Amazon does have a similar style here that I actually like a lot - and it’s half the price of mine! A crisp solid white top is such a must-have bc you can accessorize it like crazy and it will literally go with any bottoms you choose!
The rest of my outfit details: My signature jeweled initial J necklace, $168 // Bauble Bar Cameron multi-colored beaded necklace, $58 // Chunky clear resin earrings, (similar) $14 // Amazon high-waisted athletic shorts, $25 // Sam Edelman Layla sneaker (the best!) $99
If you still haven’t read my choices for best of beauty exclusives from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, go ahead and check out the post to see what’s left before they close the sale on August 4th and all of those prices go back up!
So I’m curious - which of these Amazon picks have piqued your interest and will you add to cart? Do you like the reasonable and more affordable beauty finds like these? Let me know in the comments.

Another great post, Jennifer! I’ve been using the SheGlam liquid blush for awhile now based on your recommendation and really like it! Easy application for a natural looking “blush.” And it lasts forever.
Thanks so much for your creative and informative posts!!
