Here are a few reasons to love this sale:
If you’re not familiar, this is a tiered sale. This means that the type of Sephora member you are (dependent upon how much you buy from them!) determines the dates you can shop and what type of discount you can get on those dates.
Here are the tiers for the 2023 sale below for reference. (*Be sure to bookmark this post as a handy reference for when you can start shopping for these specific deals) You can take advantage of these deals in-store or online.
SEPHORA COLLECTION: 30% off the entire sale, all levels can take advantage: 10/27 - 11/6
ROUGE MEMBERS (first access): 20% OFF starting 10/27 - 11/6
VIB MEMBERS: 15% OFF starting 10/31 - 11/6
INSIDER MEMBERS: 10% OFF starting 10/31 - 11/6
When shopping online, be sure to use code: TIMETOSAVE
Now let’s get into it. I will outline some of the beauty staples I always buy from Sephora, new gifting ideas, some brands I love, and some new & noteworthy things I will be adding to my cart.
Let’s go shopping, shall we….
This is the most fun part of this sale in my opinion, since it’s right in time for the holiday season.
Here are some of the best gift sets to consider taking advantage of now while you can get a discount on them and they’re not sold out yet! All of these sets have a larger value, than the actual price of the set itself.
Want to knock someone's socks off with a show-stopping gift of beauty?? How about this 11-piece skincare vault from Sunday Riley, $450 (value $641), of their most iconic products for the woman who truly appreciates luxury skincare. Or, make that teenager or college student, squeal with joy when they open the Drunk Elephant 7.0 Backpack, $465 (value $639) packed with 10 full sized skincare pieces + lots of samples, and this super cute green backpack.
But if that price point isn’t a part of your gifting budget, try the Day Dazzle Morning Kit, $98 (value $143) from Drunk Elephant that includes the ever-popular D Bronzi drops that every girl in middle and high school is dying to get their hands on!
Sephora has more reasonably priced gift sets too that come in cute zip pouches and would make even a great hostess gift. Why not try out this 6-piece Sparkly Clean Beauty Kit, $42 (value of $124) that includes some of the best-selling products in clean beauty! Or the timely Holiday Makeup Must Haves kit, $58, (value $184) that has everything from makeup, skincare, and hair must-haves to try.
How about a gift set that would definitely work for anyone? Grab this LashStash To Go Mini Mascara set, $28 (value of $52). Everyone wears mascara! And this would let them try out 5 of Sephoras best selling mascara formulas.
I’m a devoted fan of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Toner, $34 and so is my teenage daughter! Despite our age difference (she is 13, I am 45) it’s a skincare product we both agree is fabulous. It is pore-tightening, smells incredible, and feels so refreshing on the face, you’ll never want to skip this step in your makeup routine once you start using it.
You know I usually save my money when it comes to mascara and usually use drugstore brands. BUT if I’m going to splurge and treat myself to a prestige mascara, it’s going to be either the Lancôme Lash Idôle Lengthening and Volumizing mascara, $30, or the 2022 Clean Beauty award-winning mascara by Tower 28, $20.
I wear concealer every single day, so I do have to keep repurchasing it. I gave high praises to this Natasha Denona HyGlam Brightening and Hydrating concealer, $30, on my previous post in SAACA. Be sure to check out my best concealer tricks for the mature woman here. This formula has truly knocked my socks off, and I’m not easily impressed by concealers.
Need a great neutral eyeshadow palette? I’m already on my second one of these Tarte In Bloom Clay shadow palettes, $45, because the colors work for me and on every single one of my clients. You can’t go wrong with this staple palette that’s been in production for a while now.
I am a blush junkie, so I’m always buying new shades in my favorite formulas. If you love cream blush, the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid blushes, $23 are a must. Then for powder blushes, I can’t get enough of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes, $45, it’s pricey, but oh so worth it because you can skip highlighter if you choose the radiant options. Also the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic, $42, formula is divine.
Being able to get a discount on fragrance is kind of a big deal. Sephora carries so many of the top perfumes and candles that you’re bound to find one you love or have been dying to try. One of the best ways to see what perfume might become your new signature scent - Try this 16 piece sample set of fragrances, $85, (value $167)
Don’t forget the men in your life and give them the gift of smelling great! There are a plethora of cologne gift sets for men in many price points guaranteed to fit everyone's budget.
And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention some of the most popular fragrance gift sets from the mega-popular Sold De Janeiro brand. My teenage daughter is obsessed with every single one of their fragrances and body lotions.
DON’T FORGET THE SEPHORA COLLECTION! You’d be surprised how GOOD the Sephora collection pieces are. And at 30% off for everyone to receive, these are some products to look into. My faves are their retractable gel lip liner, rouge lacquer lipstick, and all of their makeup brushes.
Hopefully, this post gave you a roadmap for how to navigate this big sale! What are you going to take advantage of first?
Some of my Sephora shopping outfit details here: Knot satchel handbag I am obsessed with, $128 | Steve Madden booties (similar), $128 | Nordstrom basic v-neck sweater, $59 | AE high-waisted black denim, $45

Jennifer, your posts are always so happy! I guess because make-up makes me happy, and you do such an outstanding job in whatever you present.
I love this post! Your daughter is so cute! Must be fun shopping together.
Thanks for so many great ideas! I only have one “girl” I shop for…and that’s me! I’m surrounded by men. I’m going to have to get myself over to Sephora
