Love that recipe! Going to give it a try.

  2. Judith Garratt says:

I enjoy your posts. Have you considered sharing what books you are reading?

  3. Julie Mycock says:

Hi Beth, recipe looks lovely. I really love how you like to try different cocktails, one of my favourites is a Negroni which I first tried in Madeira last year which is odd because I don’t like Campari or sweet vermouth only the gin but all three together I love. Lovely to see Ollie this week too, have a nice weekend xoxk

  4. Sue says:

Would love to see more of Ollie and his adventures. He has a good perch from which to oversee his kingdom. However, he looks a tad grumpy, maybe Oliver was being irritating.

  5. Suzanne Smith says:

Good for you–sounds yummy. I stopped eating any foods with gluten once I had autoimmune issues, and it really helps keep inflammation levels down as well as control my weight. I like the idea of the jicama bed! I love a good eggs benedict breakfast, but hardly ever order it in a restaurant any more, because I can’t have that wonderful english muffin beneath it–that is, until I went to one restaurant who brought me one with a base of a seared zucchini slice! It was delicious! So now that’s how I fix them. Much less of that “bloaty” feeling, too, and I no longer miss it at all, even though I used to bake all our breads–everything from baguettes, braided breads, sourdoughs, etc. Seven years no baked things, and I don’t mind it at all–I even eat “pizza” with cauliflower crust, which is pretty tasty, and I use a spiralizer for zucchini “spaghetti.” It is actually delicious!

You look great. I love eating healthy, so never had a problem with that–but it really is so much better for us! Happy weekend to you all!

HI BETH, I love your blog, glad you are coping so well. You look great. The tacos look delicious and easy! Jicama is pronounced “hecama”. I love it – a little sweet and crunchy. Keep up the good work.

Looking lovely and much more relaxed. work will do that for you on this arduous journey without Mr Style. Mr young stylist is doing a wonderful job. On another note we have just adopted a 4 year old Belgian Shepherd ( we are her fourth home ) and she has clearly been abused. She is gorgeous with us and our 18 year old rescue cat. I was looking for one of those jackets f that your young lad Oscar obtained sometime ago and of which you spoke so highly. When you have a moment if you would kindly advise where I can get one in USA it would be very much appreciated. Love to you all.

  11. Suzanne says:

love your Friday posts with Oscar and Ollie-I have a rescue mostly main coon cat Riley and he is the sweetest boy as well, happy Friday!

  12. Paula Mayewski says:

I love your glasses!! They look great on you. I am in the market for new glasses and am wondering if you can share what brand/designer for your frames?? Thank you for bringing style and joy into my β€œIN” box everyday!!!

  13. Lorrie says:

    Hi Beth,
I watched your You tube video before seeing this blog. Glad to have found the blog for the recipe. BTW, jicama is pronounced with an “h” like “hick”ah ma. πŸ˜ƒ

  14. Nancy says:

The food sounds and looks delicious! Is Ollie a Mainecoon? We have two Mainecoons, they are Just like little dogs! Have a good weekend!

  15. Nancy says:

    Great recipe!

  16. Sharon White says:

    Beth,
This looks scrumptious. (And so do the tacos!) But we better not try to say the name of this dish five times fast–espeically if we’ve had your coctail first. Thanks, as always, for sharing your ‘quintessential’ self and your recipes with all of us.

  17. Jeannine says:

    Hello Beth,
LOVE Friday’s with Oscar and Ollie. (though tuna. loathsome. πŸ˜†) So enjoy the video clips as well! You are an inspiration, Beth. Your posts never fail to lift me up. Enjoy the day!

  18. Rebecca says:
