it’s no secret that i have an affection for sweaters. i love a nice crewneck, am crazy for cardigans, and nothing is better than a vee neck. but when the weather hands me a chilly day that’s perfect for layering? well, that’s a good day indeed. for several years the long cardigan has been gathering steam, and i can see why since it looks good with trousers, blue jeans, dresses or skirts. today, i donned my jean skirt for the simple fact i was in the mood to wear my new JCrew suede boots. i kept the overall look monochromatic, but was able to bring a bit of pattern with my argyle sweater. there’s loads of texture (which is similar to bringing in another color) between my suede boots, belt, and suede handbag that keeps this ootd looking modern, and fresh. happy hump day!
