Hi Ladies! Here we are at the unofficial end of summer, Labor Day Weekend. I have one more summer outfit to share with you. I love this outfit because it’s a perfect pattern mixing ensemble that almost looks like a matching set. So much fun!
Today, Kelly shares A Labor Day Outfit from Loft

This ensemble is from Loft. The Palm Mini Wrap Skirt is a faux wrap, side-tie skirt with a zipper in the back. This is a fun skirt style that feels great as a casual skirt, you can pair it with a simple white tee. The Skirt is nearly sold out, but if you like the faux wrap, side-tie style, Loft has it in a solid magenta color that is so striking. If you go for the solid color version, dressing it up for work is simple with a drapey top and a blazer.

The Palm Smocked Halter Top print looks like it matches the skirt, but when you get close up, you can see that the patterns are just a little bit different. Even the colors are slightly different, but I think it works because it’s just close enough.

Because I am playing with pattern mixing, I kept my shoes and bag simple and went with black. My woven black foldover clutch is old, but Loft has a really cute top handle Black Raffia Bag which is a perfect alternative. Same with my slide sandals, Loft has a similar strappy version with the Strappy Slide Sandals.

I like your new hairstyle…. very becoming!
Thank you, Robbie! xo Kelly
Kelly looks fabulous with her softer hair color and a bit of wave. Love the outfit on her too, but not the dark sandals. For me the dark color is too harsh for the dress. I would like to see the same dress accessorized differently. Remember Glamour magazines, “Who wore it better”? Maybe that’s a new segment on SACA, same outfit, and accessory do’s and don’t? Thanks for all you do. Always an inspiration. PS – Beth, Happy belated BD.
Thanks for stopping by, Hetty; that’s an interesting idea, thank you for sharing! xo Kelly
