the temps are heating up, so how do we keep cool in style? with a little white dress for summer that’s certain to beat the heat. last week i shared a little black dress that sold out lickety-split. believe you me; there’s nothing more disappointing to a blogger than merchandise they share with their readers that is no longer available. but the supply chain is tight and tighter this year. it can be frustrating, but we’ll have to make the best of it.
saturday night found me at the Braves stadium watching the Atlanta Braves face off against the Tampa Bay Rays. guess what? we won! the bats finally came alive in the fourth inning with the final score 9-0, Braves! there’s nothing better than a hometown win, especially when the season isn’t going so well for the Atlanta Braves. all-in-all the djalali clan had their fill of all-beef footlongs, nachos, popcorn, and all the stadium food we’ve come to love through the years. i mean, what’s a baseball game without a delicious hotdog dripping in mustard?
if you want a cute and comfy little white dress for summer, this has to be it. the button details running down each side give this simple sheath personality! this v-neck midi is made of linen cotton with a body-skimming fit. dress it down for the weekend with flats or sandals or add a blazer and heels for a work-appropriate outfit. this dress is perfect for so many occasions. the fabric is perfect for hot summer temps but not see-through. i added a bit of oomph with a pop of color from my orange pebble leather handbag from Mark & Graham. one of my favorite color combinations come summer is orange and gold. so i brought in gold accessories to complete to look. gold sandals (similar here), gold choker necklace (old, similar here), orange and gold bracelets, and gold earrings bring subtle sophistication to this simple dress. and, yes, i’m wearing my new Gucci sunglasses i scored at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Beth, you’re so popular, this dress is also sold out! Check this similar dress out….
So cute, but ugh – sold out. I belong to an interior design group on Facebook that is great at finding substitutions for expensive items from the likes of Serena and Lilly. Does anyone know any subs for this lovely dress?
Good morning Beth
Lovely family.
Did I missed the third son or he was not there?
Love the dress, the purse, the combination is very pretty.
Like I always said you know how to put things together very well!!
he’s at the very end of the row. the first photo just had five of us the second all seven.
Ok I see him now
Really cute dress, and I know linen is cool for summer, but I hate the wrinkles.
the wrinkles are a deal-breaker for some.
Beautiful dress Beth. Love the family pics!
thank you! we had a ball saturday night!
Love the OOTD, though agree about wrinkles! Especially love your family pics. You’re beaming with Mom Joy. Thanks for sharing them! ~
nothing better than family time!
Love the linen dress. Sold out, so glad I have one that I bought about six months ago in linen, just a different dress.
Love your sunglasses that you bought in the Nordstrom shopping trip. Glad you had fun at the ball game.
lots of choices when it comes to a cute white summer dress. glad you have one!
Just wondering what size you ordered in this white dress. It seems medium is not available and that would be my size based on their chart. Appears to run small. Can you adcise? Thanks
Julie
i am wearing a size medium. you could size down with this dress but not up.
