We are halfway through August and as a reminder SaaCA will take the week off from August 27th through September 2nd to rest and recharge our batteries. When we come back it’s full steam ahead for fall content. And if you’re like me fall is my favorite season for clothes. Give me all the sweaters, boots and blazers. This girl is here for it. And while Georgia may not deliver fall like temps until October Kelly, Jennifer, Marlene and I will be dishing up pumpkin latte’s, fall palettes and sandalwood candles ‘cuz it’s fall y’all! Today, I have the cutest cable cardigan from J.Crew that will serve me well all through the fall. The color palette is a classic combo of camel and white that happens to be a favorite of mine. I chose a white tee from ATM and straight-fit white denim from J.Crew as my base. The chunky cardigan adds texture to the outfit and a brown leather belt and sandals give that little extra something.

If you’ve followed the blog for any length of time you might notice something different about the kitchen. I will give a full reveal when it’s finished (its halfway through) but what started off with a new refrigerator turned into a complete refresh. No, I wasn’t intending on transforming my kitchen but if I needed a new refrigerator I might as well purchase a new dishwasher and oven. While I’m at it a new sink and faucet would be a good idea as it would match the new appliances. But undermount sinks can only be installed with new countertops soooooo a new backsplash is in order. Heck, let’s get the cabinets painted while we’re at it! Good golly Miss Molly I might as well have had Webber Development (they transformed my basement and master bathroom) step in and orchestrate the project but by this time yours truly had contacted all the tradesmen and the project was underway. The only things I don’t have are new cabinets and new floors but I think I’ll live…
