And just like that the weekend has finished and we’re on our way to another week. The sun is shining so I’ll take it after a weeks worth of storms and more storms. The weather forecast is hot and humid all week long which is par for the course for August, especially here in Georgia. I just have to stay on top of watering my container plants as they can dry out quickly and wilt overnight. Same goes for me, although I wilt the minute I step outside. These days I spend most of my time inside the house with the air conditioning blowing. But I’m counting the days when I can head back outside to my patio. I’m longing for an evening with the firepit roaring and the sound of water from the fountain. Oh, the dog days of summer.
