One of my favorite coats this year has been this plaid barn coat (sold out, similar here and here) from J.Crew. It’s roomy enough to pop over my chunkiest sweater and can withstand the rain. It packs like a dream and came along with me on the Mediterranean cruise and to Tybee for the wedding weekend. That’s what I love about barn jackets – they’re durable and rugged and can go anywhere and do anything.

Spanx has been a go-to brand for years and I particularly like their Air Essentials collection that’s great for travel or lounging around the house. But I also love their perfect pant that’s a cross between a legging and pant due to their close fit. It’s the pant I reach for on a chilly day in lieu of jeans.

A chunky turtleneck (old, similar here and here) is a favorite of mine to wear on a chilly day and it looks great with the Spanx perfect pant especially when a pair of knee high boots are in play. This pair from Cole Haan is waterproof and has a lugged sole that’s so on trend. Winter can bring style challenges but a simple style formula of pants + sweater + boots is an easy solution to even the snowiest day.

When you show a beautiful Tory Burch handbag for what most (maybe a too broad generalization) is not affordable, it would be nice to see some look-alike inexpensive alternatives.

Not sure what you mean by miss except price point. But luxury handbags have been around for a very long time. They’re a great investment and stand the test of time.
