blue jumpsuit and white blazer
if it’s august that means there are three birthdays to celebrate in our family. which is as good an excuse as any to look for a cute evening outfit like this blue jumpsuit from Vince Camuto and white blazer (similar here and here) that’s been on style repeat all year long. for whatever reason, i’ve been on a Vince Camuto kick, but i do like this affordable clothing brand.
i know, i know, there are many of us who complain about ladies room duties when wearing a jumpsuit. if you can get beyond that particular drawback, jumpsuits are an easy way to put a little FUN into your wardrobe and an evening out on the town. what caught my attention about this cute little number was the double buckle belt detail along the bodice of this wide-leg blue jumpsuit. and it has side slant pockets which are always a plus for me. the bodice is lined, and the belt defines the waistline. the one thing jumpsuits have in common with dresses is that they are both one and done. and who doesn’t love easy?
today, the accessories are simple but bold with an oversized cuff bracelet (similar here), slim bangle, and a gold metallic clutch (old, similar here). i’ve got you covered. didn’t i say a jumpsuit is a fun way to add pizazz to an evening out?
