Refreshing your Spring wardrobe is an exciting time, and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Clearing out the winter clothes and cleansing our closets brings us a lot of joy, here at Style at a Certain Age and we’re always happy when we can bring out the warm weather clothes and begin to design our transition and spring wardrobes – especially when we can find replacement items, or new trends with agreeable price points. So today we are sharing a Budget-Friendly Lookbook for Spring.

Quince
Quince is a relatively new-to-us brand that we are currently loving for their J.Crew-esque aesthetic, with quality craftsmanship and materials. The best part is that Quince offers classic, preppy essentials at incredibly reasonable prices.
Love cashmere but don’t love the pricetag? Look to Quince’s beautiful Mongolian Cashmere. We are especially loving the on-trend Mongolian Cashmere Polo Sweater; similar to J.Crew’s Shrunken Cashmere sweater, try the Mongolian Shrunken Cashmere Sweatshirt. Cashmere cropped tank tops are trending again this year, Quince’s Mongolian Cashmere Cropped Tank is only $40!

If you’re trying a new style or trend whether it’s a bold color or new silhouette, J.Crew Factory is a great place to start. You can try a new style without breaking the bank. Plus, J.Crew Factory boasts a better quality in their fabrics and craftsmanship than many lower-cost brands. Some items can be hit-or-miss, this is true, but if the garment is made well and you care for it well, it can last years. This is especially true for seasonal items that will only get wear for part of the year.

Nordstrom
Earlier this week, I shared Budget-Friendly Spring Finds at Nordstrom. Nordstrom is one of my favorite retailers and this is why:

- buy online pick up in store
- curbside pick up (no muss, no fuss. Nordstrom brings your merchandise to you while you wait in your car)
- the Nordy Club, where you earn 1 point per dollar, status based on spending, and enjoy perks to beauty and style workshops, curbside pickup, and the first to shop select brands.
Additionally, Nordstrom has a wonderfully affordable collection of brands under the Heading Nordstrom Made. Here you will find the ever popular workout and athleisure brand Zella; as well as on-trend styles from Open Edit and casual wear from Caslon. And don’t forget about Halogen, for classic and trending styles like this Long Open Cardigan.
Walmart
Recently I featured three outfits with pieces from Walmart’s Scoop line. The faux leather moto jacket is a best-seller, so much so that this pink version is sold out, but this white version is just as ready for spring and will perfectly top an outfit of any color.
Another great find from Scoop at Walmart is the Oversized Satin Bomber. While I chose the black version, the Pink Dusk version is perfect for spring.
One can’t do without a little black dress and why not two or three? It’s easy to say yes to the dress when you can pick up a ruched midi tank black dress for $24!
