an all-time favorite ootd is back for an encore performance. this week on YouTube i talked about three different ways to wear a denim jacket. and this cute little number was in the rotation.
pant | tee | denim jacket |tote | shoe
last year i wore this ensemble when i flew out to chicago to work on the eye solution campaign. the weather was still a bit nippy in chitown, so my trusty denim jacket made the trip. this classic item is a workhorse in my closet and always makes my top ten must-have list. it’s a great layering piece whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter. this arrow pin is years old, but brooches are a great way to personalize your jacket. similar here and here
it’s true that i’ve never met a stripe i didn’t like! one reason i have a stack of stripe tees folded neatly in my drawer. and more than one striped button down hanging in my closet. this humble tee is another classic item that’s just like the energizer bunny – it keeps on working. and then some. striped tee similarhere and here
since we’re talking about classic closet essentials why not add a pair of chinos into the mix. this pair is the here by old navy. olive is a great transition color that will take you from summer to fall with ease.
canvas totes are perfect come summer.similarhere andhere . this time of year you’ll be able to snag one that’s on sale. while you’re at it, put on a monogram on.
pointy-toed flats are comfy and chic. i like to keep more than one pair on hand as they go with skirts, dresses, and pants. i guess that’s why they’re also on my most wanted list. similar here and here .
are you ready to take a look at two other ways to style a classic denim jacket? then head on over to here and see for yourself. in case you missed the announcement the winner of the $250 Nordstrom gift card is Mildred Antenor.
