what fun to knock around town and poke your head into the local antique store or flower shop. and that’s just what mr. style and i did this past saturdayย in greensboro, ga.
of course, i remembered to bring along this fabulous straw market tote. it’s the perfect accessory to stash your loot inside. this particular bag is no longer available, but there are some terrific dupes here, here and here.
but i particularly like these chambrayย linenย pants. currently, they are on sale at talbotsย and think they’re perfect for a hot summer day thanks to their wide leg. there’s a self-tie sash that you can either decide to belt or not. today i went with a cute half-bow and a half-tuck with this sleeveless sweater from j.crew.
greensboroย was still dressed up in a patriotic palette. so my ootd blended right in.
since there was lot’s of walking involved around town i chose a pair of slip-on sneakers by sperry. super comfy but cute to boot.
isn’t this storefront to the local florist darling?! i don’t know what it is, but flowerย shops draw me in like a magnet.ย i’mย rarely disappointed with all the wares they have to offer. all-in-all i’dย say this was a fun way to spend a lazy day. and isn’t that what summer’s all about?

Love the sweater top. Looks great–I’d seen those pants, too, and liked them. Looks like a fun outing!
I keep seeing this style of pant everywhere, I need to try a pair on to see how I look in them. I think they would be a great alternative when shorts would be inappropriate for the occasion. Love how you styled yours.
I love a wide legged linen pant, I have white and natural linen so I have to GET the chambray it is on my shopping list and the Patricia Nash bag is beautiful, that led me to finding another basket bag that is now on my shopping list too.Thank you!!! You look so cool and comfy in your outfit and of course always stylish!!
