it’s double the fun this monday morning with double denim. and who doesn’t want to start the week hitting a high note with style? especially when those april showers are scheduled to pay a visit?
instead of playing matchy-matchy with my denim choices, i opted for a dark rinse bottom and light rinse top. today, this dynamic duo is paired with a white pique blazer that adds texture. it also lightens and brightens this ootd with a visual pop. if the temps heat up shed the third layer as this outfit could easily fly solo. a pair of cap-toe espadrilles reinforce the color scheme and add balance. add a wicker bucket bag, similar here, and this outfit is ready to step into a new week.

Perfect transitional season ootd. We’re getting some of those April showers today. I’m not thrilled, but tell myself they will bring May flowers! Happy Monday!
this weather has been all over the page this week! lot’s of rainstorms blowing through. but boy is everything turning green! and the pollen is getting a thorough washing.

Love how you added a denim/chambray shirt with the white blazer. Perfect combo!

I like the double denim. Have you ever had a discussion on the suggestions of wearing double denim.
I love your posts! I love blazers, but I live in the Guulf Coast and it’s too hot and humid for them! Any hints or other ideas?
