all right, gang, i may be a day early but let’s take a peek at february’s popular posts. these are the blog posts that resonated with you, my lovely readers. sometimes it seems as if the month goes by in a blur. so it’s good for my soul to take a moment to look back at the content i created for y’all (and me).
so it’s back to the archives where i gathered together five posts. two of the five posts are from the sunday brief. this is the day where i put top ten lists together, talk about my skincare routine, beauty, and hair. this is the day where i try to answer questions that frequently end up in my inbox. so without further adieu let’s revisit february before it disappears altogether.
first up is how to wear timeless classics | crewneck, trenchcoat, and skinny jeans. and it starts with a basic cashmere crewneck in a basic color – gray. this year i am loving Everlane cashmere sweaters. the price point is great as is the quality. and i like the slim fit that isn’t snug. the sweater is paired with a stretch high rise cigarette jean from Everlane. this straight leg jean features a hidden button fly and smoothing front pockets. it’s also made of an innovative fabric that has stretch yet has an authentic denim look. this is my first time wearing these high rise jeans. the fabric has some give but doesn’t end up looking saggy and baggy by the end of the day. typically, i wear size 8 or 29, but i sized up to a 30 for these jeans.

cozy sweater: a cozy cardigan is a perfect sweater for lazy days. choose an oversized sweater with pockets in a neutral color. but don’t forget to add a favorite pattern like stripes.

10 classic winter basics came in second place (i think y’all love those classics as much as i do!). recently i heard a phrase coined ‘weardrobe’ as these are the items you actually wear. sounds good because a solid seasonal wardrobe (weardrobe) gives you something to wear every single day. these ten classic winter items will create the foundation of your wardrobe. since winter is sticking around for a few more weeks, let’s take a peek at the ten classic items we’ll reach for until the daffodils make an appearance.
turtleneck: turtlenecks look chic all by themselves. it’s a universal piece that brings your outfit to life. turtleneck, jeans, and hoop earrings are a simple and easy outfit. don’t forget a ribbed texture adds interest.

lightweight coat: choose a lightweight coat that has big enough sleeves that you can wear bulky sweaters underneath.

coming in third pace is what to wear | travel outfit. wheels up, gang, it’s time for a new adventure. today, i’m headed to tampa, florida headquarters of HSN – the home shopping network. i’m the guest expert for a brand spanking new collection called Lemon Way. once or twice a month i’ll make the trek to florida to go on live television and share Lemon Way with 90 million viewers. that’s how many people tune into HSN y’all! february is twice as nice as i’m meeting the team today that’s the creative vision behind Lemon Way. february 21st is the long-anticipated launch which is a today’s special. yours truly will be on air seven times over twenty-four hours with Lemon Way sharing all the details with you.

in fourth place was the sunday brief | where i shop. today i wanted to share where i shop and the rationale behind it. there are lots and lots of retailers vying for our attention. but i tend to shop the same brands and retailers over and over again for specific reasons. let’s start with department stores.
and rounding out the top five most popular posts for february is ann taylor | spring arrivals. and i can see why. we’re all ready to ditch neutral colors and embrace vibrant shades of purple and pink.
