it’s time to transition to spring with the classics. because guess what? the spring equinox arrives today at precisely 5:58 EDT! this is the day that officially marks spring. it’s the day we’ve all been waiting for. the day when day and night are the same lengths. each day afterward the days become longer and the nights shorter slowly ushering in summer. this year is a little extra special as the night sky will shine a little brighter. there’s a supermoon tonight. hallelujah!
but this time of year can be tricky to navigate especially when it comes to “what to wear.” while the calendar states that it’s spring the temps might not cooperate. that’s when the basics come in handy. it’s these wardrobe staples that help ease us into the next season. today i’ve chosen to wear white denim and a chambray shirt. easy enough, right? but there’s still a chill in the air, so a jacket (old, similar here, here, and here) is a must. a pair of booties wouldn’t be a bad idea either to keep those tootsies warm.
