look who has the monday blues? today, i don’t mind one bit. that’s because these blues belong to ann taylor. on a recent trip to atlanta, i bopped into ann took one look at the new collection and said, ‘”one of everything, please.” or at least i could have uttered those words because their latest selections are delish! it’s a miracle i refrained from depleting my bank account altogether. but a few key pieces ended up in my shopping bag. like this grommet tie sleeve sweater. i don’t know what it is about grommets but when i spy one it has a 90% chance of being mine forever. it’s the same feeling i have towards pockets.
the stripe poplin shirt has the sweetest ruffled neckline and sleeves. it’s polished off with shoulder button details and shirttail hem. later in the week, i’ll try to sneak a photo in without the sweater. it’s definitely a ‘wear now wear later’ option. then again, the boatneck sweater can fly solo too due to the flattering neckline. but i think i may have found a new closet favorite. these fabulous sailor skinny jeans with specially designed LYCRA beauty are as comfortable as they are cute. spoiler alert. these jeans will be popping up all over the blog in the coming months. it was such a mild day today, so i slipped into my everlane loafers, but a pair of booties would look fabulous with this ootd.
