and it’s home again, home again, jiggity jig. while i recover from jet lag, unpack, and throw a few loads of laundry in the washing machine i thought you might like one last look at our european travel tales. from the streets of paris to the rolling hills of tuscany these photos are snippets of our two week jet tour. what was my favorite city? that would be equivalent to asking if i have a favorite child. each is so different from the other and has something unique to offer.
nothing quite compares to a fresh baguette or a stroll through st. germaine. the views in tuscany are so breathtaking you might think you’re staring at a painting. and the gelato? one more for the road, please. vienna’s coffee and pastries are incomparable. sacher tortes are famous for a reason.
gorgeous doors are found everywhere in paris. but i particularly loved this shade of blue.

for now, it’s back to reality in athens, ga. while i thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our vacation the past two weeks there’s truly no place like home. and i’ll hit the floor running today with a much-needed workout and one-day juice cleanse to get a jumpstart on my fitness routine. a grocery store run is on my to-do list as well as a trip to target, and if i’m lucky i’ll squeeze in a walk with oscar between raindrops. i think it’s rained in this neck of the woods every day since we left. our yard looks like a tropical rainforest.
happy wednesday, ladies!

Mr Style took a wonderful photo of the Duomo in Florence! You can really see the colors of Italy in it! Glad you’re home safe and sound, and how fun that your kids got to join you for part of your trip!
