with half of 2018 in the books i thought it would be fun to rewind the clock so to speak and revisit the blog posts that resonated with you. yes, today i’m sharing reader favorites. these are posts from january to june that had the most visits.
first up is january 22nd. and i have to agree that this outfit from Ann Taylor is absolutely darling. all the special details like ruffles and ties set this outfit apart. these loafers from Everlane are one of my favorites. not only are they comfortable but they are well-made shoes that will last for years.
stripes for the win in february. it narrowly beat my Valentine’s outfit and a beauty post that featured an amazing makeup primer. but stripes are classic and fun. if you believe jenna lyons you agree that stripes are a neutral and go with everything. but blue jeans and stripes are a little slice of heaven. add a blazer and pops of red and this classic outfit is good to go.
january and february were freezing cold months. march was a bit better temperature-wise, but i remember it bounced from hot to cold in the blink of an eye. but your favorite ootd was worn on a particularly nice day shopping in atlanta. again, you favored an outfit from Ann Taylor. and i can see why. the vibrant colors on the floral blouse are scrumpdillyicious. the sued block heels are also a favorite of mine. what else can we say about white jeans? except they are perfect 365 days a year.
april was a departure from blue jeans – dark rinse or white – because you said yes to a dress from Macy’s. sometimes we forget to shop the department stores that led the way for many years. but if you want choices from Ralph Lauren to Michael Kors stop by Macy’s. and it’s fun to exchange our beloved blue jeans for a feminine dress.
the merry month of may found me on my way to europe. and boy did we ever have a ball! it warms my heart to see you were ready to bid bon voyage on our first day of travel. this ootd served me well as i wore it there and back again.
and then there was june. if there is a perfect month out of the year, it has to be june. nothing quite compares to the first blush of summer with long sunny days and evenings spent outdoors listening to the crickets chirp. your favorite blog post had St. Simon’s Island as the backdrop with Ann Taylor clothes at the forefront.
that’s our jet tour through the first half of 2018. can’t wait to see what the second half brings! if you have a moment stop by and let me know what your favorite outfit is. happy hump day!

Those are all lovely choices. I can see why they’re popular. And it’s so true–I can hardly believe it’s almost the 4th of July. Yikes! Enjoy these last days of June.
