safari chic
it’s all about safari chic today, one of my favorite style uniforms i reach for once warm weather arrives. this year, ralph lauren delivered a neutral tone trench dress with a serious wild side. notice the gold buttons that add a little something extra to this understated dress. a self-tie belt was exchanged for a croc-embossed gold belt to enhance the button details. belts are great accessories to keep on hand. whenever i go shopping i’m always head to the belt section – you just never know what you’ll find. like handbags, belts last for years and are a wise investment. also, belts add ‘personal style’ to any outfit.
since we’re on the topic of accessories, take a look at my new tory burch earrings and necklace. tory burch is a designer i’ve been a fan of for years. what a smart businesswoman who leapt on the design scene in 2004 and focused on american sportswear with a twist. tory is known for her tunics, caftans, and ballet flats. but i’ve come to appreciate her jewelry line as well. aren’t these mismatched fish earrings adorable? i’ve been keen on this trend (mismatched earrings) for over a year. when i spotted this colorful pair, it was love at first sight. the earrings give a nice pop of color around my face and are a fun conversation piece.

this spring, i also picked up a tory burch raised logo rosary. at 37″ you can double the strand or keep it long and loose.
what says spring/summer better than espadrilles? soludos does a fantastic job delivering a variety of styles like this gladiator platform sandal.

I’m a sucker for olive green anything–great classic dress! And yes–Soludos always has espadrilles that are really unique and comfy. I’ve worn several over the last few summers. Those are a nice twist–perfect for this look. Love the bag, too. You’re all set.
