the first tuesday in november has arrived. no matter what your political leanings may be, it is a privilege to cast your vote. merriam-webster dictionarydefines ‘to vote’ as a formal expression of opinion or choice, either positive or negative, made by an individual.
there may be long lines or inclement weather to deal with. but don’t let that deter you. we live in a country where we are free to choose—free to vote. good men died so we could express ourselves at the ballot box. and that means something to me. so, i’ve donned some comfy duds and thanked those suffragettes that helped pass the 19th amendment guaranteeing all american women the right to vote.

rain, rain, go away. except if you live in georgia. we are desperate for rain…
so happy to hear you exercised your civic duty and voted. the results are finally in.

Well said. And DONE! I am pleased to say I did my civic duty! You look great to head to the polls. I wore a wool sweater this morning as it was in the 30’s! Now, it’ll be the waiting game, and I will hold my breath…
well, the election is finally over. and who knows if your candidate or mine won. but the beauty of this great nation is that we always move forward.
one things for certain, i am enjoying sweater weather! fall does have its charms.
