wednesday stripes
it’s wednesay, ladies, we’re half-way through the week. it’s been a busy week for me as i’m tying up several projects all at the same time. the grey skies persist in this neck of the woods, and the raindrops keep falling. which always poses a problem with photo shoots. but we’ve managed to squeeze them in between those april showers. wait a minute; it’s only february. what’s up with this weather?! but i shan’t complain as the temps have been hovering in the seventies and the sun makes an appearance here and there.
with the weather on the mild side, i decided to let my tootsies breath by wearing a pair of sandals. last spring and summer these denim sandals were a favorite of mine similar here. block heels have to be one of the most comfortable shoes to wear. if you don’t own a pair, you might want to reconsider. your feet will thank you. since it’s striped week, i pulled on a short sleeve stripe tee, paired it with white denim and brought along a denim jacket for the ride. jean jackets and white denim go together like jam and bread. that cute ladybug clutch from Talbots five-piece capsule collection is back in action along with a ladybug pin that’s years old. for a pop of color, i added a red gingham scarf similar here. i’d guess you’d say this ootd is in the books.

Nice springy look–our birds are indeed starting to nest, and Oxford pear trees are budding–daffodils are out as well. Spring is well on the way here…times like this, I’m glad I live where there are short winters!
