wheels up gang. yes, i’m headed to florida again. this time i’m visiting fort lauderdale instead of tampa. although many have asked if i will be back on-air at HSN. yes. there are two visits scheduled for march. so stay tuned. i ordered the palm print flawless twill (we wear samples on the show), and it arrived! if all goes well i’ll share how i style the pants next week with a quick review.
but today’s ootd is all about casual ease. ‘cuz there’s always a gazillion things to do before a trip. why is that? mr. style is joining me. which means our pet sitter is on duty this weekend watching over oscar and ollie. so for certain, we have to stock up on dog food, cat litter and treats. so i grabbed a pair of dark rinse denim from J. Crew, ruffle-neck sweater, and green utility jacket (old, similar here) to stay comfy and dry while i run those errands.

many of you have asked for a glimpse into our home decor. our entryway is painted Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore. a round mirror from Ballard Designs hangs on the wall just as you enter the house. the rush seat bench is also from Ballard Designs. and the light fixtures are from Wayfair.

can you believe we made it through february? the shortest month always seems like the longest month. this one was no exception. i blame it on the weather. but the weekend is in sight and so is march. onward!
