Happy Winter Solstice! Today is the shortest day of the year for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. The good news is that after today, we begin our march toward longer days. Christmas is just a few days away. Have you got everything together? I was ahead of the game this year, I even managed to get those long-distance gifts in the mail with plenty of time for them to arrive by Christmas. This Christmas Outfit for Petites is my last new post of 2023. Next week I will have a round-up of my favorite outfits of 2023. So here’s to 2023, it was a very busy year!

Bonfire Plaid Pants

These Bonfire Plaid Pants are from Talbots, and they are their ever-popular slim ankle pant style. I found these last year, but they are still available. As much as I like these pants (for their fit, style, and color combination), I do wish they were lined. It’s not that they are itchy or uncomfortable, but the material is light and thin. So it would be nice for warmth if they were lined.

This Cashmere Shrunken Cable Knit Sweater is from last year, but J.Crew has a similar version, which is basically the same, except the cable knit is less chunky on the new version. You can’t beat J.Crew‘s cashmere. I have several sweaters in all kinds of styles and they hold up really well.

I have worn this white puffer jacket so much already this season! It’s a purchase from last year. But I found a similar version from Uniqlo, a brand comparable to Gap.

Unfortunately, the embellished initial clutch is sold out at Anthropologie. It went incredibly quick since I just got it a few days ago! But, you can join the waitlist for it to come back in stock. Which I recommend, because this makes a great gift for you or someone who loves a little glam! It only has an initial, so I wound up getting one with a “K” for Kelly and one with a “D” for Djalali – since the colors and design of the two are different.
