today’s ootd centers around a string of pearls (similar here and here). guess what? my favorite gemstone is on-trend for 2019! for me, pearls never go out of style, and i love to layer several strands in true coco chanel style. and what goes better with pearls than a tweed jacket last seen here? nothin’! since the pearls and tweed jacket take center stage, the rest of the outfit remains subdued. a black cashmere crewneck is a perfect backdrop for pearls and more pearls. add a pair of cropped denim (similar here and here) and sock booties (similar here and here), and i’m ready for lunch with the girls or date night with mr. style. how’s that for versatility?
