there is something feminine and flirty about a pleated skirt. maybe because it moves with you with ease and reminds us how fun it is to be a girl. or it brings back childhood memories of my twirling days. remember spinning so fast we fell? then we popped back up to do it again! and maybe again… whatever the case this little number from Karl Lagerfeld Paris is a perfect addition to my classic wardrobe. and it was a steal i scored on my last trip to Dillard’s. who doesn’t love a bargain? especially when it can be worn over and over. ah, the joy of justification.

this knit top is available in black and white, but i gravitated towards the pink. surprise, surprise! the pearl necklace comes with the top but can easily be removed for a more casual look. can’t wait to style this with black denim.
