Spanx is ever expanding their collections, and their Workwear Collection caught my eye. Recently, I found this Low Maintenance Silk Button Down. It comes in four colors, including the striped version I chose. It fits true to size, I am wearing xs. The shirt has a double layer panel to create opacity in the chest area.

What I love about the design of the striped version is that the second layer has the stripes going in a horizontal orientation, while the rest of the top features vertical stripes. It’s just a clever detail that gives this top a little something extra.

Another detail I love about this shirt are the cuffs. They are slightly wider than typical, and this makes them great for rolling. Plus, the silk top is machine washable, a huge bonus, in my book!

When you find a pair of jeans that you love, it’s worth it to buy a few pairs in different washes. You can imagine my excitement when I found a style I love to wear at Gap! The High Rise Cheeky Straight Jeans are my perfect version of a straight leg jean; they come in petite sizes, most of the styles have a button fly, and they wear really well throughout the day and through many days of wear. Plus, they’re super affordable.

Unfortunately the light grey wash I am wearing is sold out in petites, with few sizes remaining in regular. Shoes are not unlike jeans, by which I mean, when you find a shoe you love, it’s worth buying a few pairs in different colors. They fit true to size and are super comfortable, right out of the box.

I recently cropped a pair of old straight leg grey jeans.
They required a high heal and I don’t really wear heels with jeans anymore. Low stacked heel boots are about it. I had a moment of regret but when I saw this post I knew I made the right decision.
