if you don’t have an lwd hanging in your closet. think again. what is an lwd you ask? why it’s the hard working counterpart to an lbd that’s put to the test during those hot summer months only days away. if you haven’t guessed by now, the acronym lwd stands for little white dress a wardrobe staple that has versatility written all over it. take today’s ootd which transitions from day to night with ease.

for nine-to-five chic, a striped blazer is slipped on as well as a pair of office-appropriate suede pumps. add a wicker handbag for a cool summer vibe, and this classic navy and white combo will help me keep my cool until the whistle blows.

but come five o’clock the blazer is retired. then it’s a matter of exchanging a few accessories like my pearl earrings for hoops, a handbag for a clutch, and pumps for sandals. see how easy it is to transition from day to night? but this lwd could easily take on the weekend paired with flats or a low heeled sandal. didn’t i warn you how versatile one little dress can be?

i simply don’t know how monday arrived so quickly but let’s make it a good one!
