If you’re trying a new style or trend whether it’s a bold color or new silhouette, J.Crew Factory is a great place to start. You can try a new style without breaking the bank. Plus, J.Crew Factory boasts better quality in its fabrics and craftsmanship than many lower-cost brands. Some items can be hit-or-miss, this is true, but if the garment is made well and you care for it, it can last years. This is especially true for seasonal items that will only get worn for part of the year.

Patch Pockets have been trending all year; from chinos to jeans, shorts, shirts, and skirts. The patch pocket adds a fun retro detail that has been updated for a modern, fresh look. Utility and sailor styles are very much in fashion for 2024 and the patch pocket is an easy way to wear the trend.

Just like bold colors, we love to wear patterns and textures. Layers are what fall and winter are all about when it comes to fashion – in colder temps we can indulge in cozy knits and fuzzy materials. Layer textures effortlessly with corduroy, or sherpa, cable knits, and suede. In fall and winter, we can mix patterns like houndstooth or plaid with stripes or animal prints to give your ensemble a fun and festive look.

Kelly, you almost always wear your belt longer than needed. Is that by choice?
Hi Kim, It’s not always by choice, even a small-sized belt is often long for me, but not long enough to make it to another belt loop. With the skinny woven belts, I like the remainder to hang rather than relying on fashion tape strips to hold the belt remainder in place. Thanks for asking, Kim! xo Kelly
