if the photos are blurry today, i blame it on my iphone. sunday was a fun-filled day that kicked off with brunch at brooklyn label an overpriced gem of a spot located in greenspoint. but mr. style decided not to lug his equipment around the streets of nyc, so it’s up to my new iphone to deliver the goods – photo-wise that is. after brunch, we headed into manhattan for a leisurely stroll through the guggenheim where we gawked at the bold and colorful paintings of hilma af klint. then we zigged over to central park and zagged our way down to the plaza for cocktails before the performance of Wicked. all-in-all it was a perfect sunday afternoon.
the skies were dreary and the temps chilly, but after a long hot summer, it was a welcome sight. hot pink corduroys brightened the day as did an old standby sweater from missoni similar here. a shetland blazer kept me warm and sensible block heel shoes similar here kept me moving along the city streets in comfort and style.
really loved this exhibit with bright and bold colors.

The Guggenheim’s a fun choice. I’m glad to see you got time with your son! And thrilled to hear fall temps are on their way.
it’s always a good day when family is involved! xo
Hope you had an opportunity to check out Fashion Institute of Technology museum. They usually have something of interest!
maybe next time. the men in my life don’t have the same enthusiasim for fashion as i do. but there’s lots of other things we agree on! xo
I’m proud of you…you look great.
You are brave to wear this in NYC where everyone is afraid to wear anything but their uniform of Basic All Black.!
Good work…..
