october is half gone. can you believe the holidays will soon be at our doorstep? before your calendar fills up with holiday extravaganzas take a moment and set aside a little time for a wardrobe inventory. little black dress? sequin tee? velvet blazer? dark rinse jeans? these are all staples of mine that hang in my closet and can take me to any number of holiday soirees. but, they can also take me to an afternoon matinée or sunday brunch. today i grabbed my faux fur jacket and paired it with my über comfortable boyfriend jeans. if you remember, i wore this particular jacket a few weeks ago with a striped skirt that was perfect for a casual evening out and about. today, my ootd is goin’ downtown with a few bold accessories: chandelier earrings, crocodile belt, and calf-hair heels. the brown and black color combo keeps this outfit looking casual and chic but perfect for any number of occasions. holidays, i’m ready for you.
