is there such a thing as too much leopard? not when it’s a leopard topper that’s perfect for a chilly day. instead of faux fur leopard, this rendition is a print made from wool that gives this car coat a subtle hint of sophistication. it just arrived last week from nordstrom but supplies were limited. i’ve linked similar coats here and here.
car coats or toppers are a lovely change of pace from a traditional blazer. the three-quarter length is perfect popped over a skirt or dress as the hemline is allowed to peek from beneath. but don’t think this coat is limited to the office. no, no, this little beauty will pull double-duty on the weekends paired with denim or faux leather leggings. don’t you just love a versatile item?!
today, i slipped into a black leather pencil skirt last seen here. for those of you who ask when and if i wear hose today’s your lucky day. yes, i wear hose once in a blue moon or chilly day. when and if that happens i wear Wolford. this brand is on the pricey side but worth every penny. first, they look and feel great. second, they are practically indestructible. that’s a win/win for me.

I absolutely love this coat! I go nowhere to wear skirts and heels, but I would wear it with leggins and boots.
Love it! I agree it is a winner with pants and leggings too!
Wonderful look–that leather skirt is gorgeous, and the coat is such a classic style–that’s a winning piece! Look forward to other pairings of both!
Another great look!
