If it’s Monday, then I should be singing the blues! And I am with a pair of vibrant blue pants from one of my favorite and affordable retailers - Walmart. Today, I am sharing Fantastic Summer Fashion From Walmart. It seems prices keep going up and up with clothes, but if you’re looking for a price point that can't be beaten and quality to boot, look no further than Scoop and Free Assembly available at Walmart. Overall, I’m not a fan of fast fashion. Those retailers churn out cheap and trendy clothes that are manufactured and marketed at a fast pace.
When I was growing up, the fashion industry released collections four times a year, spring, summer, fall, and winter. Nowadays, fast fashion brands like H&M and Zara release 52 micro-seasons a year. That’s right; they produce one new collection a week. Fast fashion produces clothes in a rushed fashion, and they’re typically poorly made. UNIQLO, Gap, and TopShop are also considered fast fashion brands. The benefits of fast fashion are affordable prices, but the drawbacks are sustainability and ill-fitting clothes made with cheap fabrics. Honestly, I’m not saying never shop fast fashion brands. One or two items can supplement your wardrobe nicely, but buyer beware.
Enter the Scoop and Free Assembly lines headed by luxury designer Brandon Maxwell that are available at Walmart. I’ve been singing the praises of both of these lines for several years. And while at budget prices, you can’t expect the same fit and fabric quality you’d find at more expensive retailers, I have to admit I’m a big fan of many, many of their clothing items due to the fabric and fit.

Today, I’m wearing the perfect summer dress that will go to the beach or brunch with ease and it’s on trend this season. Crochet is seen everywhere this year!
Crochet Stripe Dress | Boyfriend Blazer | Pink Sandals | Gold Necklace | Alphabet Necklace | Gold Hoops | Watch Band | Bangle
I popped a boyfriend blazer over the top and pink sandals that act as a neutral letting the crochet stripe dress take center stage.

And how cute are these vibrant blue pants? They would look adorable paired with a striped tee for a laid-back look. But I decided a white button-down would look trés chic especially paired with the white boyfriend blazer. White sandals are a no-brainer and complete the look.

But do you really wear clothes from Walmart?
If you’ve followed the blog, Instagram or YouTube for any length of time then you know I wear and stand behind the Scoop and Free Assembly lines available at Walmart. I discovered Scoop about three or four years ago and regularly feature them. A few of the readers favorites have been a faux leopard coat I recently sold on Poshmark and a faux leather moto jacket both from Scoop.
I really love the blue crop pants. The tapered leg looks great! I am buying these for my return to school (65 and still teaching!) Our school colors and the students will love the dressy casual look. I refuse to dres frumpy and these do not look frumpy with those great sandals.
They’re cute pants, Sharon! I think you will love them.
I wonder too if you actually wear the WM clothes. Hope so – the WM pieces in this post (and past) look beautiful on you. Dress is stunning. Both colors of barrel pants are in my cart – hope they’ll fit me well. Saw the Scoop bright white eyelet tunic and had to throw that in too.
I absolutely wear Scoop and Free Assembly. If you’ve followed the blog for any length of time you’ve seen these Walmart brands featured at least once each quarter.
Beth, I’m sure you get a commission from Walmart, why else would you recommend anything from that store. I’ve followed you for years and think we lived in Guam at the same time. Did you ever take hikes on Saturday morning meeting at Paeso Stadium? Will be curious to see if you bring your future daughter in-law into your fashion world.
If you’ve followed me for years then it’s no surprise I’m mentioning the Scoop and Free Assembly lines today. I recommend the brands and products
I love and that I think my readers will too. Affordable clothes is one thing I know many, many readers request.
Beth, I’ve seen you share many Walmart fashion finds and yes Walmart has stepped up their game.
Thanks, Terry! Honestly, the Scoop and Free Assembly lines on Walmart always have great selections. And so affordable!
