We have covered this trend a number of times on the blog. The idea behind it is to look sophisticated, yet understated. Nothing too flashy with large brand logos. You don’t have to spend a lot to achieve quiet luxury. A good strategy is to go with a monochromatic look, but mix your materials to give textural difference and interest.

J.Crew might be one of the most budget-friendly brands to shop for preppy style. Also look to Tuckernuck and J.McLaughlin. Frances Valentine is fun for a retro-romantic take on classic preppy style.
