It’s another busy week as I’m in Rome, ready to embark on a Mediterranean cruise with Windstar and their ship, The Star Legend. It will be a great voyage as the final destination is Barcelona, with stops in Livorno, Nice, and Marseilles in between. I’m looking forward to visiting Monaco and Monte Carlo as I’ve never been! Follow along on Instagram Stories for all the behind-the-scenes action!  When I return, it’s time to get it in gear as the family will descend on Casa Djalali on the 24th for Christmas celebrations. The halls are decked with holly, scented candles are burning, and Christmas carols are playing in the background. The most wonderful time of the year has arrived.

Today, I decided on a black turtleneck and black leather blazer (old, similar here), adding a modern edge to these plaid pants. But if I wanted the outfit to be Merry and Bright, a red or green sweater would be the ticket. Either way, red velvet shoes add a hint of sophistication to today’s ootd.
