Can a blue jean and blazer girl ever have too many of either? Okay, maybe one can but I couldn’t resist this pair of bootcut jeans from Wit & Wisdom or the glen plaid blazer from Rails. It’s a match made in heaven and I cannot wait for cooler temps to sport this winning combo.

One item I can and will wear starting now is the cap sleeve cowl neck silk blouse from Vince that comes in four colors and has that little extra something due to the cowl neck. Dress up a denim and blazer combo with heels or dress it down with sneakers. Either way works! That’s the versatility of this style uniform. I will mention that I am wearing my TTS 8 in everything except the denim where I sized down to a 6.

V-Neck Sweater
Another category that I stock up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is sweaters. I love to wear sweaters especially V-neck sweaters that are universally flattering to all figures. This baby blue sweater is from Vince and I love the color which almost blends in with my bookcase. Again, it’s a neutral color that will mix and match with so many items in my closet but I love the contrast it gives styled with white denim from Ann Taylor. Slide sandals are trending this summer but you can’t go wrong with a braided nude sandal from Open Edit a Nordstrom Made Brand.

Sleeveless LBD
The last outfit starts with a sleeveless mock neck LBD from Vince. This outfit was a hit on Instagram so wanted to share it on the blog as the black dress is still in stock. Wear it now with sandals and a straw tote. Wear it later with the double-breasted blazer and boots. This little black dress is a keeper due to its flattering fit and versatility.

I love everything! The boot cut jeans are almost all sold out So couldn’t get them. Disappointment. Love the sweater but too much wool allergic. Too bad like the color. So is the Vince turtleneck, that dress is sold out in medium. Thought about getting it earlier. Should have. Things sell out so fast in the sale.
Hi Beth you mentioned sizing down in the absolution jeans. Do they run large or are you in a six since losing weight.? I always wondered how that particular brand is for sizing. Thanks for the help.
