Today we are taking a look at a truly iconic fashion, white sneakers. The white sneaker ranks up there with a white shirt and white tee, it’s an essential building block to a classic wardrobe. Much like a nude heel, a classic white tennis shoe is your go-to sneaker as they look fantastic with everything from dresses to cuffed jeans. If you fret over how to keep them clean, a Magic Eraser will come to your rescue, especially if your tennies are leather.

Iconic Fashion: My Favorite Sneakers
White Sneakers
Personally, my favorite sneaker is a classic white leather or canvas low top. I have several pairs from a variety of brands. Lately my go-tos are Veja Sneakers; classic white sneakers with a fun pop of color in the V logo on the sides.

Another favorite brand is Superga, specifically the Superga 2740 Platform Sneaker. These are fun for a little lift both in height and elevating your outfit. Platform sneakers are a great option if you like to pair sneakers with dresses.

For a more low-profile look, go for the iconic Keds. The first mass-produced canvas, rubber-soled sneakers were Keds. Keds was founded in 1916, and by the 1920s Keds were worn by Olympic Soccer players, tennis champions and college athletes.
Keds gained popularity in 1953 with the design we recognize today, the sporty Pro-Keds silhouette. Through the 1950s and ’60s fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, and Marilyn Monroe all sported Keds and made the sneaker a fashion statement.
By the late 1970s, Keds became cult favorites thanks to basketball players, pop bands like the Ramones, and the hip-hop community.
Another cult favorite are Stan Smith Adidas. This iconic sneaker debuted in 1963 when athletes were transitioning from canvas to leather sneakers. A few years later, it was branded by French tennis star Roger Haillet. Adidas officially rebranded the shoes Stan Smiths after Pasadena-born Stanley Roger Smith in 1978. My favorite rendition of this sneaker is white with the traditional Stan Smith logo in green. I wore those tennis shoes all through college and beyond. Now, I have opted for the all-white version.

Not sure you mentioned it, but the Sperry Crest Vibe white sneaker is also a great option.
Thanks for such a great array of white sneakers.
Great round-up of white sneakers! I will circle back and choose one. Am in Key Biscayne for a family wedding and wearing Sorels Kinetic slip-ons in mostly white … For slip-ons, they have been ultra comfortable and I think attractive.
