Hello Ladies! Today I want to shine a light on The Hardest Working Accessories in Your Closet This Fall: Metallics. Metallics in all levels of shine are trending again this year, and I think the trend is here to stay. Treat these shiny accessories like neutrals. They truly will go with every single thing in your closet. I don’t often wear jewelry, so I really like to bring a little bling to my outfit with a metallic handbag, shoe, or belt.

These imperial purple Slim Demi Boot Corduroy Pants from J.Crew are a new style, also available in khaki, black, and magenta. What makes them new is the demi boot cut. The imperial purple color was not available in petite, so I went for a regular size 25. They hit right at my ankle, but because I wanted a slight crop, I had them hemmed. Other than the length, they are a great fit with a hint of stretch for comfort.
I absolutely love bright, bold colors, and the perfect accessories to pair with bold colors are metallics. Really because this is the easiest (and most fun!) choice. I went with silver for this outfit because of the heather grey color of the Cashmere Shrunken Sweater Tank Set. This sweater set is available in a heather stone (camel) color too, which I think would look great with gold accessories.
I know that these Fisherman Lugsole Sandals are only available in gold, and the style might be for everyone, so I have collected several more shiny silver shoe styles, with boots, ballet flats, loafers, and block heels. And unfortunately, the Gracie Top Handle Bag is sold out in mirror silver, but here are two alternatives: Similar Silver Bag | Similar Mirror Silver Bag
Piper Ankle Boots | Winona Lugsole Penny Loafer | Greta Ballet Flat | Dylan Crisscross Block Heel Sandal | Pointed Toe Flats in Metallic Leather
I have turned to metallic accessories for so many outfits! Like I said, think of them as fun neutrals that you can wear with bright colors, bold prints, and fun pattern-mixing combinations.
