winter pastels are making a statement this year. once reserved with spring’s blooming flowers mint green and blushing pink are now appropriate to wear come january. pastels are incredibly bold amidst a sea of dark colors. so out came my military inspired blazer with brass button accents. this is a decidedly masculine piece and i love the contrast against the feminine pink. the ootd is kept sleek and chic with simple accessories — black pumps, belt, and handbag. nine-to-five just got a whole lot prettier thanks to a pop of pastel. take that winter.

Oh, a woman after my own heart–I have always loved pink and black–especially this soft pale pink. Gorgeous!
pink will always be one of my favorite colors. it’s so versatile and comes in so many shades. isn’t this blush pink beautiful? i’m certain you’ll be seeing these pants again!

Divine – the trousers, the cut, the jacket. Beautifully worn.

Oh, this is so wonderful! Love the look, you had me at first glance, the jacket is to die for! I have never (really, never ever) owned a pair of pink slacks or jeans, but after seeing yours, I think I’ll change that. The black heels are beautiful as well. Looking great… as you always do.
then get thee shopping, bonnie! ASAP. you will love owning a pair of pink pants. i love to pair mine with navy or black. but they go with so many other colors. let me know how you like them.
