when a pencil skirt has an added feature like a side zip i take notice. this is just the sort of detail that elevates your outfit. add a geometric print, and you have a skirt with the wow factor. pencil skirts are office appropriate any day of the week. they look great paired with cardigans and blazers. and they can fly solo with a simple silk blouse. but in today’s ootd i went with a 3/4 length jacket that’s perfect for a nine-to-five look as well as a special occasion. like easter which is only days away. pattern mixing is in full swing this season so i added a polka dot scarf for a punch of color. the textured yellow clutch, last seen here, gives this ladylike outfit a little pizazz. and gold metallic pumps polish it off. i’d say that’s a wrap!

how did you know? you must be a mind reader… and it depends on the outfit as to the time and effort that go into it. some outfits just ‘click’ and there is zero effort. others take quite a bit of tweaking. go figure!
