Last week, I was off to my annual spring getaway to The Ritz at Lake Oconee. With a mix of sunny days lounging by the pool catching up on some R&R, it’s not all vacation, I use this getaway as the perfect opportunity to create new content for spring and summer because the backdrop of Lake Oconee is so beautiful and I can't wait to share it all with you! Today I am sharing Spring Travel Outfits and Accessories.

The Wicklow Italian Chino comes in Italian performance twill like I am wearing here, and you can also find it in Italian Performance Denim and Italian Performance Linen. So if twill isn’t your thing, and you like this style, you can reach for the denim or linen versions. Pairing the Italian Chinos with an oversized, or relaxed White Shirt and Slide Sandals is the perfect way to be comfortable and weekend chic during your getaway.
While I had sunny mild days, the mornings and evenings were a little chilly, so the Aspen Travel Set from Frank & Eileen is perfect for lounging and running out for coffee in the morning. The Ritz is only a short drive away, so the Aspen Travel Set is a great option for the drive there – especially since right after checking in, it’s on to my first photo shoot.
You can get the set, or you can get the pieces separately, with the Catherine Sweatpants and the Effie Sweatshirt.
I love a shirtdress, talk about a dream vacation piece. So easy to wear for so many types of activities. Dress it up with a belt and heels for a night out, or wear it as a beach cover-up. Cool and breezy, the Rory Dress is a classic!
The AirEssentials line from Spanx includes several styles that are perfect for traveling and lounging. I love the Cropped Wide Leg Pants and the Tapered Pant. All of the items in the AirEssentials line are meant to be mixed and matched. I went with the Mock Neck Top, but if you prefer sleeves, try the Boat Neck Top or the Polo Top.

I love Style at a Certain Age. However, I would love to see a column occasionally on how to dress to minimize your bust. I know that Susan doesn’t have this problem, but there are many of us over 50 who do. And horizontally striped tops are a “no-no.” For example, tops should have vertical stripes, which elongate the body. Thanks.
Hi Karen,
Not sure who Susan is? But we will do our best to discuss bustlines in a future post.
