Denim Skirt: Maxi, Midi, and Knee Length
Denim skirts are an easy way to wear casual denim in the warmer months. Trending this summer are knee length, midi, and maxi denim skirts. I like the knee-length versions the best, in both white and blue denim.

Ribbed Tees and Tanks
Ribbed tees might, at first glance, look just like a regular ol’ tee shirt. But a ribbed tee has just enough texture to set it apart. Often ribbed tees will have small details like cap sleeves which also set it apart from a plain tee, and give your casual outfit a more put-together look. Ribbed tees are often more slim-fitting which makes them great to wear under a linen or denim button-down.

Special Occasion and Wedding Guest Dress
Whether you have a wedding to attend, a graduation, or Mother’s Day brunch, having a beautiful spring occasion dress is one of my favorite items to shop for come spring. Check out my Wedding Guest Dresses with Nordstrom post for a more comprehensive dress guide with special occasion accessories.

Relaxed Trouser
Trousers come in a wide variety of styles, from straight-leg, skinny-fit, to flare-leg and wide-leg; with pleats or flat front. For the warmer months, a pair of relaxed trousers in fabric like linen or silk are a wonderful way to put together a polished look for the office or going out. Pair your linen trousers with sneakers for a chic casual look.

Matching Loungewear
A matching loungewear set is perfect for not only lounging, but they’re great as travel outfits too. Comfortable, yet put together enough (because it’s a matching set) to go from the house to errands out and about with style and ease. I love the Aspen Travel Set, so comfy for lounging and traveling. You can get the set, or you can get the pieces separately, with the Catherine Sweatpants and the Effie Sweatshirt.

Short Suit/Pant Suit
I love the versatility of a suit set. Wear them together for a polished, chic look; or wear them with other items in your closet – sky’s the limit! For spring and summer, navy or white suits are gorgeous options. Shorts suits are playful and unexpected, but can look just as chic and polished as a pants suit with sleek heels or flats - dressing up a shorts suit is all about the accessories.

Shorts
When the temps heat up (and they do in Georgia!), shorts are often my go-to bottoms. Versatile, comfortable and easy to wear, I have quite a few pairs of shorts in my closet. From Bermuda length, to mid-thigh length, shorts are a warm-weather must-have!

Straw Hat | Sun Hat
A sun hat is a necessary accessory when I am at the beach, but even if I am spending a day out and about and the sun is shining, I will often add a straw hat to my ensemble. I love a classic straw fedora. But a wide-brimmed hat like a Panama hat is another chic and functional option.

Statement Belt
A statement belt is a great way to add a little extra personality to your outfit; wear a boldly colored or printed belt with a monochromatic outfit, or to add a pop of complimentary color. Statement belts can cinch your waist to add shape to a flowy dress, they can tie in with your shoes or bag to give your ensemble a cohesive look.

Spring Sandals
Spring means the beginning of sandal season. I just love breaking out my favorite sandals and adding to my spring and summer collections. Before the weather gets too hot, I like to style my jeans with sandals – there is a brief window in spring when I can comfortably wear jeans and sandals!
