now that may has rolled into town; your calendar could be jam-packed with special occasions in the next few weeks. any of you a june bride? it is still the most popular month for wedding nuptials. and we all know may is always chock full of graduations – high school and college. law school, med school, and doctorate ceremonies are typically held in june. but whatever occasion you are celebrating you still need that special something to wear. have no fear as this week we are diving into special occasion ootd’s. first up is mother’s day. if you are headed to brunch for mother’s day (restaurants are always filled to the brim with families) do i have an outfit for you. if you’ve never worn a jumpsuit before this might be the time to try one. a jumpsuit can be worn in lieu of a dress but still make a statement. i love its comfort factor and ease of movement. and versatility? dress it up with a blazer as in today’s ootd or let it stand on its own without one. the choice is yours, depending on your lifestyle. and the best part? it has an elasticized waist that gives me a little wiggle room if a piece of cheesecake lands on my plate. someone in my family was raised in vienna, austria and has never gotten over their love affair for pastries or desserts in general… i’ve cinched my waist with a metallic skinny belt, thrown on a pair of suede sandals, and reached for a straw clutch that also converts to a shoulder bag thanks to a gold chain. how easy is that for a mother’s day ootd?

Great look–chic and comfortable. To me, that’s an unbeatable combination!
i’ve been wanting to find a cute jumpsuit for spring/summer. last year i found a denim jumpsuit that i wore all summer long in san francisco. super comfy!

Love jumpsuits Beth! I got 2 of them and they are so easy to wear…that is unless you have to go to the bathroom…I remember that from wearing them in the 70’s…but we were a lot more flexible then and didn’t have to “go” as much.. Great Look as always!
That’s what I thought: easy to wear … unless you have to go to the bathroom. Also remember wearing them when I was younger.
But it looks great!
ha ha! that’s when we have to cut back on our beverage intake, my mother always said you have to suffer for fashion!
