today’s ootd couldn’t be easier to put together. many of us already have a sweater blazer, striped tee, and white pants hanging in our closet. even if you are missing one or two items i have you covered. stripes. check. sweater blazer. nope. white pants. looking for the right pair.
white pants can be tricky to wear and they might not be on your radar screen quite yet as they’re typically reserved for warmer weather. but, hey, Georgia is flirting with seventy degrees as of late so i’ll go easy on myself and jump the gun. the fit of these pull-on pants is so flattering with a wide waistband and hidden front panel that has a tummy-smoothing effect. add a gorgeous silver heart necklace, a jaunty scarf tied around my neck, black wedge sandals from Jeffrey Campbell, and a sleek handbag from Coach that can be carried as a clutch or crossbody bag. didn’t i tell you it was easy to put together a chic outfit that keeps your stripes looking modern?
sweater blazers are always a favorite of mine Spring or Fall. love the longer length of this Nic + Zoe sweater blazer that has pockets! the striped tee is old (similar here and here) as is the scarf (similar here and here) but the white pants (fits tts. i’m wearing a size 8) are brand spanking new with a flattering fit, non-stop comfort, and flat front. if you are looking for comfortable shoes along with height take a look at wedges. this pair of black wedge sandals are from Jeffrey Campbell with a square toe and comfy fit due to a cushioned footbed. don’t forget to personalize your outfit with accessories. today, i reached for a silver heart necklace from Lagos that adds my personal spin to this outfit. handbags are always icing on the cake. lately, Coach has won my heart in the handbag department. this sleek black handbag converts from a clutch to a crossbody.

I can put that outfit together from my closet. I can also do it in navy. For some silly reason I thought I would have to give up my nautical wardrobe when we sold our sailboat but anyone can wear nautical right? I love each item that you put together for your featured look today. The fit on the white pants is just what I’m looking for. I feel that to keep a white pant looking sharp, they should not be snug fitting.
This is one of my favorite styles that you’ve modeled! That knit blazer would be so versatile too. I have a knit denim jacket that I love. You really can’t tell that it is a knit at a glance.
